About Me
My name is Ashton Flynn, and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) Graduate Intern at Stegall Counseling PLLC in Indian Trail. I am currently completing my master's degree at Wingate University. Under the supervision of licensed clinicians, I am accepting new clients and offering affordable counseling services, including a sliding-scale option that makes therapy accessible for college students and young adults in our community.

Why I Am Becoming a Counselor
I chose to become a counselor because I deeply value genuine human connection and want to be a dependable source of support for others. Having navigated my own challenges surrounding social anxiety and panic, auditory processing, and life transitions, I understand how daunting change can be and how vital compassionate support is along the way. I believe meaningful growth happens when individuals are empowered to explore and heal according to their own values and beliefs. I strive to create a safe space for clients to process life’s challenges, no matter how big or small.
